Default 1987 jeep wrangler clutch problems?

Im looking at a 1987 jeep wrangler. The owner said the only problem with it was the clutch. When you push the pedal it goes to the floor, you cant feel the clutch. What could the problem be what should I look for?

The jeep clutch is hydraulic. Either the master cylinder is shot or the line has leaked out the fluid. If there is no clutch pressure at all this is probably the factor. If it is leaking or has leaked from the front of the tranny the throw out bearing is worn and will have to be replaced.....unless for some bizarre reason the clutch pedal assembly is broken or disconnected,....but highly doubtful. These parts are fairly cheap to replace if your getting a good deal on the jeep. A total clutch kit should be under 200 bucks and a master cylinder is ????. I have had my 88 YJ tranny out quite a few times and have it down to a fine science now. If you end up tackling the job yourself email me....I'll give you some tips.
