I'm going on vacation next week and will be renting a car. My choices are a Toyota Sienna Minivan or a Chevrolet Uplander Minivan. Looking for people who may own one of these cars. Thanks

I don't own a Chevy Uplander myself, but I do know someone who does. Its a great driving van, and you can fit 4 adults and 3 children, I personally would check to see if the vehicle is equipped with On-Star, GM's satellite vehicle service, if it is you can go on your trip with peace of mind. Toyota does not offer On-Star.

Get the Toyota! The Uplander is probably the worst minivan sold in the US. It's crash test results are the worst of all minivans. Reliability is horrible. The Toyota is probably the best. It is far safer, handles better, rides better, and gets better gas mileage.A good friend bought an Uplander on price and traded it for a Sienna after only one month. He took a bath financially but is ecstatic with the Sienna. I've driven and ridden in both and would have to agree.
