Hi! I just had a brand new set of BF Goodrich tires installed on my car. The technician recommended having my alignment done because the treadwear on my outgoing set was very uneven. I also knew this since my car had been pulling severly to the right. Later that day, I had my alignment done at a local tire shop. The technician stated that BF Goodrich radials have a tendency to pull to the right. "They're just doing what they do..." Is this true? My car still pulls to the right, although not as severly as before. Doesn't havng an alignment job done mean my car will go straight if I let go of the wheel?Yeah, it was a four wheel computer alignment. Looks like a paid the price for choosing price over quality. I settled on this shop because they had the most reasonable price in my neighborhood. According to the BBB site, they have a clean AA record...I have a 2003 Acura RSX, base model, and had a set of BF Goodrich G-Force Sports installed. This is my third set of BFGs. First set was Traction T/A V's, and this is my second set of G-Force Sports. I love these tires!Darn, can only rotate front-back, they're directional.

No, your mechanic is "selling you" his alignment. No car pulls right due to Goodrich tires. That's baloney plain and simple. When I first bought my '66 Chevy, the left front wheel was visually out at the bottom and in at the top. I had four different aligments in Orange County CA and every time I got it back, it was still visibly out. The fourth one told me that he adjusted it as far as it would go, and that was the best he could do. At least he was honest. I decided I could do better in my driveway. What I found out was that the springs had compressed (they do that over time) and the adjustment was indeed as far as it would go. I replaced the springs all around and now it takes an alignment.A good and honest chassis shop is a goldmine. Every two years I get an alignment and they check my brakes, u-joints and all the front end wearing components. I seldom come away from there without paying $200, but that's my fault for keeping a '66 Chevy on the road. I use Pearson Alignment in Bakersfield, he's a guy with decades of experience, and he's as honest as the day is long.Good luck and God bless..

It should go straight to a point. If the road is slanted or goes around a curve it will follow the road. Have the mechanic drive the car and show him what it is doing. Could be a dragging brake shoe, bad bearing, bad tire or underflated tire. Pops

The guy that told you all BFG tires pull to right is pulling your leg.Alignment places are not all the same. Avoid the "computer align" places. Some of those guys can't even read the printout.Find out where guys that drive 4x4 trucks take them. Look for the tech hanging mirrors on the wheels like they did 30 years ago. Tell them you got new tires and its pulling.Rember a little crown to the road will make damn near any car pull right just a little.

Be sure the tires are inflated properly. Did you get a four wheel alignment or two wheel. Get the four wheel. The tech if full of grease. He is feeding you a line if BS for his improper alignment, in my opinion.

As a veteran of several thousand alignments I can assure your that 99 times out of 100 alignments do not cause pulls. Its the tires.Cross-rotate the front tires and the pull should either change or go away.
