with the enviormental movment in full swing and " muscle cars are gass guzzlers " crap isnt supposed to be here there very awsome vehicles that show America's past destroying them is destroying history!!so what will happen to there drivers forced off the road ? aleternative fuel for those cars?btw i have a 1978 dodge magnum with 400horse and 470 ftlbs of torque 6 speed manual

Many of them will wind up as museum pieces. For the rest of us, we'll probably change the fuel tank and lines to stainless steel, re-jet the carb and change the float, bump the timing up 10 degrees and run Alcohol. To paraphrase another adage; they can have my muscle car when they pry my cold dead fingers off the steering wheel and shifter.

In the UK we have to pay more taxes etc,this is to force us off the road.I would say it will be the same there,Most modern high performance engines are more better for the environment ,So we we eventually have one of those we should hopefully have the performance and be taxed less.

I still have mine, all original '70 Dodge Charger R/T,440 Six-Pak,4spd,3:56 Sure Grip rear.87,000 original miles.I will let my children starve if it means I keep it on the road.I've had the car longer,seniority you know.
