I am just wondering which car I should buy between the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Gallardo, I really like the look of the R8 and would be saving myself nearly £50,000 buying one of these, I do love the Gallardo buy is it really worth that much more than the R8, anyonehave either of these that could give an honest opinion would be greatly appreciated ?

R8 for me, better value for money

i would have to go with the r8, those cars are so beautiful, and they are a lot better when it comes to bang for your buck

GET THE AUDI R8 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2 may ppl have lambos & i am so sick of seein them the audi is fresh and in my opinion so much better good luck & go for the R8 u wont regret it

I prefer the R8 for I believe it would be more reliable and less expensive to maintain than the Gallardo.

They are both the same car, Audi owns Lamborghini, so they are basically one company. What Audi did was they realised the Gallardo wasn't selling so well, so they made a new mid-engined supercar based on the Gallardo and re-badged it the Audi R8.Personally, I'd go for the R8, it looks pretty good and is a lot cheaper than the Gallardo, the only advantage with the Gallardo is that they also do a Spyder version if you feel like having a convertible.The waiting lists for these cars is very long. You'll probably have to wait a bit longer for the R8 because it is mostly hand-built but then again, its worth it, seeing as it'll be quieter, more comfortable, easier to get spares and much cheaper.Get the R8, save yourself £50k and spend it on fuel, insurance, a holiday or another car.

One of these cars is built by a specialist manufacturer who has over the last 50 years built nothing but the vary maddest, baddest exotic sports cars. The other is built by a company which specialises in overpriced Diesel saloons for wannabe executives.And by the way...they're most definitely NOT the same car!
