no, you have to buy an adapter that is specifically for playing through the radio. Chargers do that and that only...charge. If your looking for a radio tuner for your ipod I suggest you look at belkin products. Also, if you car happens to have a tape player you should deffinatly use an Ipod cassette adapter, they have no static and sound much clearer. For those you can look at Sony, Monster, or Belkin. All of those products can be found at any Best Buy or Circuit city.
