There are FM transmitters, but I don't find them as good as a tape deck thingie. And it's a bit difficult to find an open FM band in big cities. So I'm no help. If it's an issue, I'd get a cheap stereo with an MP3 in or cassette deck.

i have the iTrip. It attaches to the top of your iPod and plays through your car radio. It actually doesn't work very well for me because I live in a hilly country setting and I can't find a strong enough radio signal when I am driving, but if you are in a city it might be fine. Spend some money on it though, don't get the cheap kind.
