.Depending on what kind of car stereo you have, you may be able to 1) dock the ipod 2) plug in from your headphone jack to an input on your stereo 3) buy a fm transmitterThere are lots of fm transmitters for ipods for $40 to $100

If you have a tape deck still the same tape will work for your ipod as you had for your diskman. You can also get a radio transmiter that plugs into the usb. and then you tune your radio to a specific fm station and it will conect. They had them in our flyer for the Source/Radio Shack this week

There are several options. The best solution for you depends upon where you live and if you have a cassette player in the car. If you live in an area of limited FM stations, an FM tuner, such as the iTrip would work well. If you live in a major city, a cassette adapter may be a better option. The iTrip plugs into docking jack of the iPod and broadcasts through the FM station of your choosing. This model also charges your iPod as it plays. This works great in rural areas, but in larger cities, there at too many stations close together for the iPod single to come through clearly. FM transmitters run around $50, but you may be able to find a less expensive one if you do some shopping. If you have a cassette player in the car, a cassette adapter is a good option. The RCA jack plugs into the headphone jack of the iPod. It runs to a "cassette" that goes in the cassette player. The sound comes through just as sound from a cassette would. Cassette adapters tend to be less expensive, costing around $25 or under. Both devices are available at Target and other major retailers.
