Question Rear Wiper Arm Replacement

Hi all, I'm new to CarClubtalk. I have a 2006 Subaru Forester with a brocken rear wiper arm. Anyone know how to replace it?

Hi ednaz1,

I assume that a Legacy wagon would use the same mechanism. The arm is held on with a bolt that's under a plastic cover. The shaft is cone-shaped with small ridges, which means that the wiper won't slip out of alignment when bolted in place, but it also means that the arm can stick a bit even with the bolt removed. It takes a little wiggling to get the arm off once the bolt is removed.

BTW, I also new to CarClubtalk
