Hi, Does anybody know the position regarding tax, VAT, etc for converting a 2005 Defender 90 hardtop to CSW spec? I've got an ominous feeling about it, but can't seem to get any definitive answers.

Shouldn't be any problem with Tax or vat, but your insurance company will want to see an engineers report after the conversion.Your premiums will probably increase as for any 'modified' vehicle.
