Default online car dealer sold me car with major problems?

Help! I just bought a used car online through ebay. '05 w/ 17k miles. High end dealership, high end car. I did everything I could to ensure it was a good vehicle. Ck'd carfax, ebay's auto check program, talked to dealer, all clean. Live in MO, picked car up in IL. Appears car may have been in accident. Heard dealer ask mechanic to ck all fluids/tires before I left. Power steering fluid shld be sealed and never need replacing is now empty, bad run flat tire, hood & quarter panel molding have part # instead VIN, low oil, more. They claim 100% satisfaction on their website. If they won't make good on devalue of car or buy it back how can I make sure it costs them in lost sales way more than the value of my car. I want the world to know of their shady dealings! Lemon laws seem vague but I don't believe this is technically a lemon. Would I have a leg to stand on in court? Where are some good places to publicly complain where consumers will see? What recourse have I?

Complain to the dealer and have the car replaced if you can. While you are at it, contact the Better Business Bureau to figure out your options.

Lemon Law doesn't apply for used cars. Either contact the dealer again and deal with their manager or contact the Attorney General in the state where you got the car from.

1. CONTACT THE DEALER AND DEMAND THAT THEY FIX IT USING A COMPANY IN YOUR HOMETOWN.2. IF ALL ELSE FAILS YOU SAID THAT IT WAS A 2005 WITH 17,000 MILES ON IT, SO YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME TYPE OF WARRANTY LEFT.3. IF YES TO #2 THEN CONTACT THE VEHICLES MANUFACTURER AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR YOU.4. THE IS A TYPICAL CASE OF DECEPTIVE TRADE.5. PRINT A COPY OF THE EBAY AD NOW BEFORE THEY CHANGE ANYTHING ON IT.6. CALL YOUR STATES ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE7. CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.8. LAST COURSE OF ACTION FOR YOU WILL BE A LAW SUIT.GOOD LUCK

Make a copy of everything, their site, the sale everything. Get in contact with them, tell them you are persuing lemon law and falsified advertisment. You need to go speak or call an attorney and ask. advice is free they will tell you what you need to do. You shouldnever pay for something like that unless you test drive, and have a good mechanic check it all out.

You bought a used car. Unless you can prove the dealer defrauded you, which is very difficult to do, you're stuck.

You would have to prove that they knew the car was in a major accident and didnt' report it to you. Almost impossible to do. Contact the dealer and see if they will offer anything. I doubt it though, it is your responsibility to notice this stuff before taking delivery.

Some people on here are incorrect. Depending on the state the vehicle was purchased in, Lemon Laws do very often cover used cars. The problem is to win in court, you must prove the dealership lied to you about the condition of the car, and that is very hard to do. If you specifically asked if the car had ever been in an accident and they said no (and you have an email or something to prove it), you are as good as gold. But with any lemon law, you must first give the dealership the option to refund your money or repair the vehicle. Anyway, make sure you have all your paperwork in order, check the lemon laws of the state in which the car was purchased, and print out a copy of the original ebay ad and any correspondence you had with the dealership. You may be better off simply allowing a local dealership to repair the problems if the car is still under warranty and can be fixed for free.

I hate to say this, but I seriously doubt whether you are competent to develop an informed opinion about this high-end car. Unless you are capable of fixing the car itself, and actually fixed it yourself, there's no way you can take responsibility for assessing its condition.I see this all the time, and it bothers me. People want to damage somebody, when they aren't compentent to determine whether anything wrong or dishonest even occured.
