It's a 2007 and you have had it for two years? It should be covered under the warranty it is most likely your compressor has gone bad and may need replacing that may not be covered under the warranty why don't you check out what is covered first

most warranties are for a minumum 3 years or 36k mile bumper to bumper excluding normal wear item like brakes, clutches, belts, and hoses. so yes i would think the warranty would cover it unless there are other reasons you have not mentioned that would cause it not to. also, as for the dealer making money off you......the answer is yes. that is why any business is in business so thet can make money

Your vehicle should be under 3/36 bumber to bumber warranty. But as you explaination on the problem it unclear. Is the noise only one when you have your AC on or is the noise there when the blower motor running? And what type of noise is it, clicking, scrapping, wirling? If it was me I would take it to a differrent dealer and get the second opion on it.If I can get some more info them I would help diagnos the problem.

they are looking to cover there costs in case there is a pen or a penny in the blower cage. they are not responsable if you( ora child/pass /whomever) put something in the vent....same can be said for a leaf ( but can usually get them to not charge you for that).if bad cage/motor/part of car in side....then would be warranty...only one way to find out is to open her up and look

I would take it to another dealer.I have worked for many, and they usually cover this type of thing under warranty, as having something fall into the heater is mostly the lack of screens to protect from this. They are obviously not wanting to cover this, and you must trust them to give you the actual cause of the problem. They will get 400 from you and maybe still bill Toyota as well. The salesman or sales manager you bought the car from may help in this case, as they want you to buy another one from them.If they don't give you satisfaction, I would phone the Toyota number in your manual and complain. This is wrong!
