im looking at buying a crossfire but i live in northwest ohio and i am nervous about getting it around in the winter

I live in Springfield, Mo. We both know how Winters can be. I wouldn't do it unless I had a cheap Winter get around back up vehicle to use. An older 4WD Tracker would fit the bill. Crossfire's are cool, but I'd have serious doubts with it in Winter.

pretty much any RWD car will be fine in the winter/snow if you put a good pair of snow tires on it... the bigger issue is not how it will drive in the snow, but whether or not youd want to drive it in the snow and salt and all that... like the other dude said, get a winter beater, if only to preserve the condition of the car

Front wheel drive cars do better. A lot better.

I leased one for a year from May of '06 to April of '07 and as long as the Crossfire you are looking at has the all season tires you should be ok. I live in the metro-Detroit area and was pleasantly surprised with how "sure-footed" the Crossfire was in snow.

As well as any rear-wheel drive vehicle will. If you know how to drive in the snow, it isn't a big deal. Slowly accelerate, drive slower, brake sooner and you'll get where you need to go. As mentioned, tires are important, you need at least an all season tire for any vehicle to get around in the snow.

this is a rebadged mercedes slk 330 it has electronic stability program it should do great in the snow just make sure you have good tires or nothing will help
