Here's a link to many techniques I used back in my days of rendering concept car sketches. Back in the late 80's, I just did quick sketches, with finished posters of cars and motorcycles in airbrush and Berol Prisma colored pencils.There's nothing like creating your own concept car. There are actually some great schools in CA for automotive design.
