Of course they do; Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger are the two that are most recent, but there are scores of others. Good luck!

They frequently make it into production, although this is not why they are made. They are made to show design concepts. The manufacturer uses them for consumer feedback on future models or features. Before a manufacturer will commit the enormous resources to building a new model, they want to see if the public will accept it and if it will sell. Some make it, some don't.An example of a concept car that made the show circuit for the past few years and will soon be in production is the Chevrolet Camaro.Although it is still a concept car only, I expect the Chevrolet Volt to be in production in a couple of years.

some concepts do come into production. some are just made for something to fantasize about. others may be there to showcase new technology.

Yes they do. It depends on what people think of the concept cars. If the concept gets good reviews, then they put them into production. The Conecpt Camaro was just a concept, but musclecars started to become popular again so they are making the Camaro again.
