Default Can the hemi 426 fit in my 06 dodge charger?

I have the 06 charger base engine and I want a bigger engine the 426 do you think it will fit ok?

Nope. The 426 hemi is a huge engine. there isn't any way that it will fit in the new charger. For the cost of one of those anyway.. you would be far better suited to modify the engine that is in it.

Yes it will..... it only cost cubic dollars. I've seen VW's with hemi's installed in them.My question is: Why didn't you get the hemi option when you bought the Charger. It can be modified to get a lot of hp and torque. The cost off a 426 hemi in your car will probably be in the range of 20k, it would be cheaper to trade your car in and purchase the hemi optioned car. A 426 hemi will not pass government emissions tests and are very expensive to build.
