Then the bill of sale can be used to register the car and pay for the taxes? Thanks Or does the bill of sale just have to by signed by both the seller and purchaser to make the sale final?

Notarized? Of course not, but it does have to be signed by the seller The seller's name and address should also be printed because many signatures are unreadable.

What you need is the clear title for the vehicle, signed by the seller, and yes, it needs to be notarized. All vehicles have titles. Don't buy without one. There are lots and lots of questions in here about that very subject.

no,,i have bought a few down there all you need is for them to sign them and make sure they fill out all the info on it,,that's about it,i always take some kind of a tag with me to put on them,,but notarization is not necessary no -more in some states,,good luck,hope this help.s.,,have a good x-mas.
