Default I would like to make a memorial donation to a charity...which one do I choose?

My little brother was killed in a motorcycle accident 5 days before his 19th birthday last year. My parents have had a very hard time dealing with this, I thought it would be nice to make a donation in his name and present it to them at Christmas. I don't know which charity to choose. My brother liked animals, cars and everything that a teenage boy would like. I tried the whole "name a star" thing, but found out it was mainly a scam. Does anyone have any ideas of a charity that I could donate to that would send a card or let me print a certificate when I donate so I have something to present. My top choices so far were the Make a Wish Foundation or the Humane Society of the United States.

some communities sell memory bricks, donate to a youth program in your area, a donation to his high school for equipment.

What a nice idea!! If I were choosing a charity I would choose on the basis of what your brother felt most passionate about, and which one would use the money the way he would like to see it used. Both organizations you mention sound like good choices. Being an animal lover myself, I would choose the humane society. I am not sure about certificates or cards though.
