All depends if you DIY or get a pro to do it, the interior's not too bad to diy if labor intensive, but the paint job should probably be left to a pro and will run you 2-3000... As a note, getting a single tone paint would be considerably cheaper than the metallic stuff and it still looks really good. The interior, for some cars (like the bmw) they make custom fit seat covers that are a fairly inexpensive way to restore that (thou it still run me $200 or so for the covers), or you can get the actual material for the seats but it's a pita to diy... Then the carpet you have to order and that's $80 - $200 or so (DIY takes a while, some cars are easier than others but basically you have to take the whole interior apart. Then, the door panels and the dashboard trim, it all depends here if you have to have OEM thou in most cases you do, certain parts might can be aftermarket, idk, several hundred here as well, close to a grand probably (for the parts).Usually, somewhere between 4-5 and 8-10 thousand dollars should do a pretty good job, again it depends somewhat on how much you want to do, then the labor and if you hire someone (definitely leave the paint to a pro unless you have a shop and schooling in this department lol), but it shouldn't be much over 10 even if you hire out the entire job.Good luck.

Default Car restore

Restoring the car interior and other updates is a good idea. I don't think it should cost more, not as much 7000$. You can get cheap DIY kits that let you fashion the interiors yourself.
