Default Ebay No Reserve Policy?

If a seller lists a car on Ebay with the " Buy It Now" price of $8,850.00, but does not set a reserve price, and does not state anywhere in the auction that he/she reserves the right to cancel the auction at any time they have to sell it for whatever it goes for right? I am referring to this add in particular. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-CAMARO-SS396_W0QQitemZ220170999724QQihZ012QQcategoryZ6161 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemThe current price is under $1000 and there is no reserve. Any ideas?

Default Ebay No Reserve Policy?

HiThe listing itself has no reserve. The seller has indicated that they will accept a buy it now price. The seller can also end the listing early. If you bid on a listing and win, then you are legally bound to complete the purchase.Likewise, if you are the winning bidder, the seller is bound to sell you the item at that price as long as..........a. the listing ended normally i.e. eBay send you an email saying you have won.b. there is no reserve on the listing. However, in practice, if you won this listing for $1000, and the seller did not want to honour the contract, you would have to go to court to try and force the seller to complete the transaction. This seller has 0 Feedback so may not understand the rules. It also says that the seller is no longer registered which is strange as they would normally remove the listing.Hope that helpsDanny
