Definatly the V8 Vantage... It is much more powerful, rare, and exotic!!!!

come come now, Aston went and made two different cars to hit two different types of car buyers. I don't know why someone would think the V8 Vantage is more exotic, it's cheaper and they'll probably sell more of them.The price difference is pretty steep, so if you just get to choose which go for the DB9. It's bigger, has a better interior and has a V12. The DB9 is meant to be great for touring, which is the whole point of an Aston, people can't admire if you're just a blur.Not to say the Vantage is a bad car, I love it! It's just not as classy as the DB9

DB9's got class. People respect you for it. Vantage (and all subsequent Astons) look similar, they're just copying their looks off the pro.
