The windshield wipers on my 2000 Audi A4 have not been working, I turn them on and they will move a couple inches then stop, then start back up, move a couple inches, stop, etc. I just assumed it was a bad wiper motor. I replaced the motor with a used one from a salvage yard and now they do not work whatsoever, no movement at all. I suppose this motor could be bad but was wondering if something else could be bad. I have checked fuses and they are all okay. Thanks

Check for a bad or poor ground.
