they are looking to cover there costs in case there is a pen or a penny in the blower cage. they are not responsable if you( ora child/pass /whomever) put something in the vent....same can be said for a leaf ( but can usually get them to not charge you for that).if bad cage/motor/part of car in side....then would be warranty...only one way to find out is to open her up and look
